Winter Session Classes
As we reach the end of what has been a challenging 2021, I would like to extend my thanks to all who have made our fall return to in-person learning possible. Through your considerable efforts, we were able to keep the number of campus COVID cases to a minimum and finish the year without significant disruption.
It has become clear in recent days, however, that had the semester extended longer, we might have experienced a different type of ending. The number of positive test results within our community has increased over the last several days. This mirrors a trend seen on other campuses and in the general population.
New Jersey’s COVID caseload has climbed steadily over the last several weeks and just surpassed its previous peak set at the start of the year. With a high rate of transmission expected to continue into the first weeks of 2022, the college has made an adjustment to the instructional mode for Winter Session, which begins on Monday, January 3, 2022.
