Fall 2021 classes have returned largely to in-person instruction, except for those programs designed and designated as online or blended as their regular delivery mode (e.g., the MBA program).
Students who have been granted a medical or religious exemption from the COVID-19 vaccine are expected to attend classes in person (unless the course was designed and designated as online or blended as its regular delivery mode). Students with approved exemptions are required to follow additional protective measures to ensure their safety and the safety of the campus community. These requirements include being tested twice a week, wearing masks, and practicing physical distancing in classrooms and in other instructional spaces (three feet when feasible given the room layout).
Masking in Classrooms and Other Instructional Spaces
TCNJ has temporarily put in place an indoor face-covering requirement for everyone, regardless of vaccination status. When the local conditions improve, the college expects that this universal face-covering requirement will be relaxed for fully vaccinated students, faculty members, and staff members. Those who have received an approved vaccine exemption and remain unvaccinated will continue to be required to wear face coverings and to physically distance (when feasible) throughout the entire semester and be tested twice per week.
Study Abroad and International Travel
Limited TCNJ-sponsored study abroad opportunities may be offered, consistent with state, federal, and CDC guidelines. Students should consult the Center for Global Engagement for additional information.
